Calamos Global Dynamic Income Fund (the Fund) is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund's primary investment objective is to generate current income, with a secondary objective of capital appreciation. The Fund will invest primarily in a diversified portfolio of convertible securities and below investment-grade (high-yield) fixed-income securities. The Fund has flexibility to allocate among equities, fixed-income securities and alternative investments worldwide. Calamos Advisors LLC (Calamos) is the Fund's investment adviser.
The Fund may invest up to 100% of its assets in foreign securities and invest in an array of security types and market-cap sizes. The Fund may invest in derivative securities, including options and swap agreements.
