Material Mineral Projects Constancia Constancia is the company’s 100% owned copper mine in Peru. It is located in the Province of Chumbivilcas in southern Peru and consists of the Constancia and Pampacancha deposits. 100% of the payable silver and 50% of the payable gold at Constancia is subject to a precious metals stream agreement with Wheaton Precious Metals. The company owns a 100% interest in the 36 mining concessions (covering an area of 22,516 hectares) that include Constancia, all of which are duly registered in the name of its wholly-owned subsidiary, HudBay Peru S.A.C., HudBay Peru S.A.C. also has the required surface rights to operate the Constancia mine. Lalor The company’s 100% owned Lalor mine is a zinc, copper and gold mine near the Town of Snow Lake in the province of Manitoba. Lalor is located approximately 208 kilometers by road east of Flin Flon, Manitoba. The Lalor mine is operating at 3,000 to 3,500 tonnes per day and is ramping up production to 4,500 tonnes per day by 2018.
The company owns the property through one mineral lease and eight order in council leases that total approximately 947 hectares.
