China Pharma Holdings, Inc., incorporated on January 28, 1999, is a holding company. The Company conducts its production, marketing, finance, development and administrative activities through its subsidiary, Hainan Helpson Medical & Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (Helpson) in the People's Republic of China (PRC). The Company is engaged in the development, manufacture and marketing of pharmaceutical products for human use in connection with various diseases and medical conditions in the PRC. The Company manufactures pharmaceutical products in the form of dry powder injectables, liquid injectables, tablets, capsules, oral solutions and granules. Its pharmaceutical products are sold on a prescription basis and are approved by the China Food and Drug Administration (the CFDA). The Company manufactured over 20 pharmaceutical products for various diseases and medical indications. Each of the indications are classified into three categories: basic generic drug, which is a common drug in the PRC; first-to-market generic drug, which is a generic Western drug, and modern traditional Chinese medicine, which is a non-synthetic, plant-based medicinal compound, to which the Company applies various production techniques to produce a pharmaceutical product in different formulations, such as tablets, capsules or powders.
Central Nervous System (CNS) and Cerebral-Cardiovascular Diseases
The Company's products for CNS and cerebral-cardiovascular diseases include Cerebroprotein Hydroloysate Injection, Gastrodin Injection, Propylgallate for Injection, Ozagrel Sodium for Injection, Alginic Sodium Diester Injection, Bumetanide for Injection and Candesartan. Cerebroprotein Hydroloysate Injection is used for memory decline and attention deficit disorder caused by the sequela of craniocerebral trauma and cerebrovascular diseases. Gastrodin Injection is used to address tiredness, loss of concentration, poor sleep (the declined spirit syndrome), and for traumatic syndromes of the brain, including vertigo, neuralgia and headaches. Propylgallate for Injection is offered for cerebral thrombosis, coronary heart disease and complication after surgery-thrombus deep phlebitis.
Ozagrel Sodium for Injection is used for cerebral thrombosis, coronary heart disease and complication after the surgery-thrombus deep phlebitis. Alginic Sodium Diester Injection is used for ischemic heart disease, cerebrovascular diseases (cerebral thrombosis, cerebral embolism and coronary heart disease) and high lipoprotein blood disease. Bumetanide for Injection is used for various edema diseases (including those associated with heart failure, hepatic cirrhosis, nephropathy and pulmonary edema), hypertension, acute renal failure, hyperkalemia, hypercalcemia and for the rescue of acute drug poisoning. Candesartan is used for hypertension.
Anti-infection and Respiratory Diseases
The Company's products for anti-infection and respiratory diseases include Roxithromycin Dispersible Tablets, Cefaclor Dispersible Tablets, Anhydroandrographolide, Clarithromycin Granules and Capsules, Naproxen Sodium and Pseudophedrine Hydrochlorida Sustained Release Tablets, and Gull Wood Extract Syrup. It offers Roxithromycin Dispersible Tablets for Pharyngitis and tonsillitis caused by Streptococcus pyogenes; sinusitis, tympanitis, acute and chronic bronchitis caused by acute bacteria, Mycoplasma pneumonia and Chlamydia pneumoniae; urethritis and cervical infection caused by chlamydia trachomatis, and skin soft tissue infection caused by sensitive bacteria. Cefaclor Dispersible Tablets is used for tympanitis, lower respiratory tract infection, urinary tract infections and skin/skin tissue infection.
The Company offers Anhydroandrographolide is used for ischemic heart disease, cerebrovascular diseases (cerebral thrombosis, cerebral embolism and coronary heart disease) and high lipoprotein blood disease. Clarithromycin Granules and Capsules are offered fir nasopharynx infection, lower respiratory tract infection, skin tissue infection, acute tympanitis and mycoplasma pneumonia caused by clarithromycin susceptible organisms; urethritis and cervical infection caused by chlamydia trachomatis, and the treatment of legionella infection, mycobacterium avium complex (MAC) infection and helicobacter pylori infection.
The Company offers Naproxen Sodium and Pseudophedrine Hydrochlorida Sustained Release Tablets for relieve cold, sinus and flu symptoms, blocked nose caused by anaphylaxis rhinitis, runny nose, fever, sore throat, symptoms of myalgia in the limbs and pain around the joints. Gull Wood Extract Syrup is used for detoxicating, anti-inflammatory, reducing swelling, for the indication of acute tonsillitis, acute pharyngitis, acute conjunctivitis and upper respiratory tract infection.
Digestive Diseases
The Company's products for digestive diseases include Hepatocyte Growth-promoting Factor for Injection, Tiopronin, Compound Ammonium Glycyrrhetate S for Injection and Omeparzole. Hepatocyte Growth-promoting Factor for Injection is offered for serious viral hepatitis symptoms caused by various viral hepatitis types, such as acute, subnormal temperature, chronic serious disease early or middle period of hepatitis. Tiopronin is used for acute and chronic Hepatitis B, and for the relief of drug-induced liver injury. Its Compound Ammonium Glycyrrhetate S is used for Injection is for liver dysfunction caused by acute and chronic hepatitis; supplemental treatment to toxic/trauma hepatitis, liver cancer, and also for the indication of food/drug poisoning, and drug allergy. Its Omeparzole is used for Gastroesophageal reflux disease, and other conditions caused by excess acidic formulations in the stomach, including gastric ulcers, recurrent duodenal ulcers and Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome.
Others
The Company's other products include Vitamin B6 for Injection and Granisetron Hydrochloride Injection. Its Vitamin B6 for Injection is used as a vitamin supplement. Granisetron Hydrochloride Injection is used for the treatment of nausea and vomiting caused by radiotherapy and chemotherapy during the treatment of malignant tumors.
