The Gabelli Global Multimedia Trust Inc. (the Fund) is a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund's primary objective is long-term growth of capital with income as a secondary objective. The Fund will invest at least 80% of its assets in common stock and other securities, including convertible securities, preferred stock, options and warrants of companies in the telecommunications, media, publishing and entertainment industries. It may invest up to 15% of its net assets in securities for which the markets are illiquid.
The Fund invests in sectors, such as entertainment, hotels and gaming, publishing, cable, broadcasting, wireless communications, consumer services, computer software and services, equipment and diversified industrial.
