BlackRock MuniYield Arizona Fund, Inc. (the Fund) is a non-diversified, closed-end management investment companies. The Fund seeks to provide shareholders with as high a level of current income exempt from federal and Arizona income taxes by investing primarily in a portfolio of long-term, investment grade municipal obligations the interest on which, in the opinion of bond counsel to the issuer, is exempt from federal and Arizona income taxes.
As of October 31, 2007, its investment portfolio consisted of education, hospital, housing, power, industrial and pollution control, water and sewer, sales tax, transportation, and city, county and state. BlackRock Advisors, LLC is the investment manager of the Fund.
