Transcontinental Realty Investors, Inc., incorporated on December 20, 1991, is an externally advised and managed real estate investment company that owns a diverse portfolio of income-producing properties and land held for development. The Company's segments are Commercial Properties, Apartments, Land and Other. The Company's portfolio of income-producing properties includes residential apartment communities, office buildings and other commercial properties. The Company acquires land mainly in in-fill locations or suburban markets. The Company has approximately three apartment projects in development, which include Eagle Crossing, located in Dallas, Texas; Parc at Mansfield II, located in Mansfield, Texas, and Terra Lago, located in Rowlett, Texas. The Company's investments in undeveloped and partially developed land consist of McKinney, Texas; Dallas, Texas; Kaufman County, Texas; Farmers Branch, Texas; Kaufman County, Texas, and others. The Company contracts with third-party companies to lease and manage its apartment communities.
