ARO-AAT is a therapeutic candidate for the treatment of liver disease associated with Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency (AATD). ARO-AAT is designed to knock down the Alpha-1 antitrypsin (AAT) gene transcript and reduce the hepatic production of the mutant AAT protein. ARO-F12 is an RNAi-based therapeutic designed to reduce the production of factor 12 for providing a prophylactic treatment for hereditary angioedema (HAE) and thromboembolic diseases. ARO-HIF2 is an RNAi-based therapeutic designed to reduce the production of hypoxia-inducible factor 2a (HIF-2a) to treat clear cell renal cell carcinoma. ARO-LPA is designed to reduce production of apolipoprotein A, a component of lipoprotein (a), which has been genetically linked with increased risk of cardiovascular diseases, independent of cholesterol and low-density lipoprotein (LDL) levels. ARO-AMG1 is being developed against a genetically validated cardiovascular target.
