It has developed approximately five blood assays in the NuQ-A family to detect cancer by detecting nucleosome-protein adducts. The Company has developed a NuQ-T assay to detect cancer by detecting total blood nucleosome levels.
The Company is engaged in the process of developing HyperGenomics tissue and blood-based tests to determine disease subtype following initial diagnosis and to help decide the therapy. The Company has completed approximately two clinical studies in colorectal cancer, one study in pancreatic cancer and one study in lung cancer. The Company has clinical studies underway in colorectal cancer and lung cancer and prostate cancer, as well as a pan-cancer study in over 30 cancers. The Company focuses on licensing its Nucleosomics technology on a non-exclusive basis to a global diagnostics company. It focuses on selling manual and/or semi-automated 96 well ELISA plates for use by centralized laboratories. The Company focuses on entering the point-of-care clinical market in Europe and in the United States over 20 months after launching on the manual platform. It focuses on contracting with a specialist company to adapt the NuQ tests to the doctor's office or home use system and to contract with a manufacturer for the production of these tests.
